Welcome to Our Magical Villas

More and more small but luxury private villas have come into existence on the magical island of Bali. "VillaMagix" is an outstanding selection of villas offering magical, romantic privacy and a perfect hideaway with intimate service in the true style of Balinese hospitality. Our furnished villas range from one to four bedrooms that can accommodate from two to six persons.

Most of our selected villas are nestled within a beautiful environment, either secluded amongst the rice fields with stunning views of the river valley, or overlooking the gorgeous white sands of the island's legendary sun-drenched beaches. They are located in Nusa Dua, close to a golf course, in Jimbaran, a peaceful fishing village with the best seafood in Bali, and in secluded areas further to the north of Kuta. Others are in Sanur, a peaceful resort close to main city of Denpasar, and in Ubud, the island's art and cultural village capital, with breathtaking views over the rice terraces of central Bali.

Each villa reflects the Balinese lifestyle through its architectural setting blended with modern comfort and all-inclusive amenities; most also have lush tropical gardens and private plunge pool or swimming pool. Villa rental prices vary and often cost less in total compared to staying in a hotel, since most prices are quoted on a per villa basis rather than per room.

Staying in our villas also does not mean self-service. Most have welcoming staff who will readily assist you and provide the warm and personalized service necessary to ensure your stay is as close to perfect as possible.

The culture of Bali is unique. People say that the Balinese people have reached self-content. It is not an exaggeration that when a Balinese is asked what heaven is like, he would say, just like Bali, without the worries of mundane life. They want to live in Bali, to be cremated in Bali when they die, and to reincarnate in Bali.

It does not mean that the Balinese resist changes. Instead, they adapt them to their own system. This goes back far in history. Prior to the arrival of Hinduism in Bali and in other parts of Indonesia, people practised animism. When Hinduism arrives, the practice of Hinduism is adapted to local practices. The brand of Hinduism practised in Bali is much different from that in India. Other aspects of life flow this way.

Traditional paintings, faithfully depicting religious and mythological symbolisms, met with Western and modern paintings, giving birth to contemporary paintings, free in its creative topics yet strongly and distinctively Balinese. Its dance, its music, and its wayang theaters , while have been continually enriched by contemporary and external artistry, are still laden with religious connotations, performed mostly to appease and to please the gods and the goddesses. Wood and stone carvings, gold and silver crafts parallel the development of paintings, gracefully evolving with external forces to enhance their characters. The batik of Bali owes its origin to Java, and inspired the development of ikat and double ikat.
